We went to Banff and Jasper in Canada. There were wildfires in the NW U.S. and the smoke had bled over to Canada to the point where sights were hazy and the air smelled like campfire. So, we headed South until the smoke wasn't an issue which ended up being South Colorado and Utah.
It was a less than ideal descent..
